Fishing / camping trip, Giseles first. She's playing fetch with Whiskers, but she's not quite quick enough to get it yet! We took the 5 week old pups, they stayed in the camper the entire time, it was a little chilly to go outside for them. The other dogs enjoyed walks and sitting by the campfire with us. Tuffy was a big hit, he made some new friends as he's such an outgoing kid. He's a prime example of how much friendlier the males are, he was exited to meet everyone and had plenty of kisses to go around. We don't get away often, when we can actually relax and just do what we want. Packing the kids, camper and dogs was like moving a circus, but it was well worth it!

Whiskers left, Gisele center, Spot right (my sons dog), even he's too slow to get the stick first! Gisele had her first experience with snow.

Cache and Spot fishing.

Whiskers first swim for the year. The water was high and fast and darned cold. I thought I'd have to send my husband in after her, but she got her swim out of the way and came back to the shore, happy to have been in the water!

Shaylin (neice) and Denver, around here, the kids have to start on the equipment when they are young. Denver is my sister in law Kelli's boy, he's 1/2 brother (same sire) to Tuffy, Lexi and Kiki. His mother is related to Katie, and has Champion Belgar lines. We're looking forward to seeing his offspring sometime this year, or maybe next year. He will be bred with Oakley when they are both old enough.

Tuffy on his first swim. He's a natural, took to the water great and had a good time. He even went in with the kids, all by himself, although he hadn't quite got the hang of it completely, he loved it.

Tuffy, Cache, Whiskers and Tynette. The dogs like to explore the little island, there's lots of different smells and things to investigate. It's good for them to get away from home for awhile and try new things.

Dakota (left) Tuffy (right), the boys outside for the first time together. Dakota had grabbed a stick to and tried to get Tuffy to play with it, but in the process just ended up whacking him with it. Both boys are pretty even tempered and mellow, they get along very well together, as long as there isn't any girls in season, then they have to go out seperately.
